Few days ago I got this Ciaté nail polish for review.
The shade is Knickerbockerglory from Passionista collection. It’s a bright fuchsia red, with a creme finish. The first thing I have to say, it’s that I love their bottle. I love the little black bow and their retro style label. They have many colors, and they all are particular and unusual. I love Headliner and Apple and Custard, to take just an example.

Ma vabbè, non divaghiamo.
Dicevo.
Application is very good, in the pic you can see one coat only. It gave me an opaque effect with an only coat. The brush is the best one I’ve ever tried. It is not round, but has two sides, I hope that the pic shows you better than my English. This plate brush gives an easy application because it covers all the nail.

It lasted so long. I wore it even to scratch a wall (for my new home…) and it was perfect even after this odd “treatment”.
The color is very bright, but IMHO it’s a shade that could be worn everyday because it doesn’t require to wear something to suit it.

CG Peachy Keen and Pool Side
Some time ago I got two China Glaze polishes to review.
The first one was in my wishlist since I saw it, because I love pastel colors. It is Peachy Keen, from Up & Away collection.
This is a strong peach shade, with creme finish. It is glossy and I took it off after 3 days, and it still was nice.
It took me three coats to have an opaque effect, but I’m still not satisfied with it. The brush is quite thin and very comfortable, the application was good.
Maybe I shouldn’t use a base coat, I don’t know. I love the shade, even if I think it doesn’t suits my skintone.

The second one is Pool Party, from Poolside collection. It’s a fluo pink. At first sight, it’s stunning, and you think you’ll never have any occasion to wear it. But when you wear it, it’s not so shocking. I’m not wearing it for work or for an interview, but if you still have some holidays, I think it’s perfect. It’s so funny and so pink, so if you like pink and if you’re not afraid of fluo colors, it’s your nail polish.
IRL it’s much more fluo than in the pictures, but unfortunately we had cloudy and rainy days here, and I didn’t want to wait to review it.
So, even if Peachy Keen was in my wishlist, and even if I wouldn’t have bought Pool Party by myself, my fav is absolutely Pool Party. It’s a pity I already finished my vacation (I’d better say I finished my vacation at the seaside, because I’ll spend two weeks working in my new house and getting very very very tired).

Zoya - Shimmer
This is my second Swatch with Zoya polishes, this is Shimmer. It is a pale glitter pink. The color is quite invisible on the nail, but as the name says, it’s so shimmer!
As I told some posts before, I’m no more used to look at my nails and see them ‘naked’. But I’m wearing this shade from 3 days and I like it so much.
The formula is great, it’s so easy to apply and one coat is enough to get the shimmer effect, but here you see two coats because I was trying to see if I would see the pink, too.
I observed with a lot of attention the microglitter, under any kind of light. At the beginning it seemed to me it was just silver, but it’s not: glitters are green, blue and purple. There’s no way to show this in a pic, they are so micro! But trust me, this polish is something awesome. I can’t wait to try it on a crème purple or something like that, I think it would look great!

OPI swatches: Passion and Love this color
OPI Passion

Brand: O.P.I.

Ecco il penultimo smalto OPI da testare. Mi fa effetto usare uno smalto trasparente, dopo tanti smalti coloratissimi.
This is the fifth OPI polish for review. It's a bit strange to use transparent polishes after so many colored ones. To be honest, I wear it everyday on my feet, but a feel shy about taking pics of them, so just for you, here it is on my hands!

O.P.I Love this color
This is an unusual red. At first sight it seems to be a hot red, a kind of brown, but in real life it has many shades which change with light. Sometimes it seems to be a colder red, like a cherry red, and other times it's like a hotter red, almost brownish. It's very difficult to catch the real color in pictures, I tried many light conditions but I'm still not satisfied. It's bright but quiet, a classic red which is not 'classic' at all. It has red and golden micro glitter that make it shine a lot.
I think it's the perfect shade for work.
