Eyeko polishes GIVEAWAY and REVIEW

Here I am with the swatches of the two Eyeko polishes I received for reviewing.
Rain polish and Saucy polish. The first one is a pale light blue with a touch of silver shimmer. In real life it is more greyish than it looks in the pics. It is much more “London sky” than it appears here. It is a bit thick to apply. This was two coats, but it has been a little bit difficult to reach my nails edges. But the color is a must have, I think I’m going to use it a lot in autumn.

Ecco qui gli swatches delle due novità di Eyeko che ho ricevuto per una review: Rain polish e Saucy polish.
Il primo è un azzurro grigio pallido con un tocco di microglitter argentati, ma proprio micro, è quasi una polvere e si vede pochissimo. Nella realtà è più grigio di come appare in foto. L’unico tasto dolente è l’applicazione, che risulta difficile sui bordi dell’unghia perché la consistenza è piuttosto spessa. Il colore però è un must, credo che in autunno lo userò parecchio.

The second one is Saucy polish, a tomato red with cream finish. No sparkles, no glitter, no shimmer. A pure red cream. I think the name is perfect, just looking at it, I t reminds me of a tomato sauce. The formula is better than Rain polish, it is fluid and it only took me one coat to have this opaque effect.

Il secondo è Saucy polish, un rosso pomodoro lucido, senza glitter, pagliuzze e affini. Un puro rosso crema. Il nome è azzeccatissimo secondo me, basta guardarlo e ricorda un sugo al pomodoro. L’applicazione è molto più semplice rispetto al Rain polish, per avere questo effetto ho dato una sola passata.

By mistake, I received two packages from Eyeko with Rain Polish and Saucy Polish to review. According to Eyeko staff, I decided to use them for a giveaway!

Random swatches + CG For Audrey

I realized that I have so many polishes I haven't worn, yet. So, yesterday I tried some of them. Here they are:

This is the 1€ store one, I'm officially in love with the shade. It is very similar to the picture, but I think it's better in sunlight.

Ho ancora una marea di smalti nuovi da provare, così ieri ho fatto che metterne uno per dito per vedere un po' di colori, ero curiosissima di provare questo rosso fragola scuro che ho preso al "tutto un euro", e devo dire che fa il suo sporco lavoro. Si stende benissimo e non è nè troppo liquido nè troppo denso, e il colore è uno dei miei preferiti. Insomma, per un euro va più che bene:

Questo invece è il primo smalto E.L.F. che ho, il colore mi piace molto ma la texture è pessima. densissimo e appicicosissimo, quando lo metto non c'è verso di far sparire le righe. Qualcuno sa come farlo diventare più fluido? Non voglio buttarlo, è molto carino il colore, fa tanto estate.

This one is my first E.L.F. polish. It's "coral". I'm not satisfied with the texture, it is so thick and creamy, difficult to put on without making stripes. I love the color, it's so summer-ish. Have you any advice to make it fluider?

Nel frattempo è anche arrivato il mio ordine E.L.F. (smalto, eyelid primer, fondotinta minerale e kabuki, ma lo vedremo più avanti).

As you can see, my E.L.F. order arrived (the nail polish, the eyelid primer - wonderful, a mineral foundation and a kabuki brush... I'll write about them in a couple of days).

Questo invece è il mio primo esperimento con il fai-da-te. Volevo una cosa simile a Playa del Platinum di Essie, non gli assomiglia per niente, ma mi piace lo stesso. Che dite?

This one is my Essie Playa del Platinum DIY! Okay, it's not similar at all, but definitely it's not too bad. What do you think about it?

I stil have some Eyeko and Rimmel and others to swatch.

Poi, un annuncio. Uno dei primi smalti che ho comprato online è stato For Audrey (China Glaze). Non l'ho mai nemmeno provato e già sono stufa. Il color tiffany forse non fa per me. Quindi se a qualcuno interessasse può contattarmi, è nuovo, mai usato e mai nemmeno provato. Assomiglia al nuovo Nouvelle Vague di Chanel, comunque sul web è pieno di 'swatches'.

One of the first polishes I bought online was China Glaze For Audrey. I never put in on, and it already bored me. I thought I would have loved it instead of Chanel Nouvelle Vague but... This shade of tourquoise it's not my favorite. So, if anyone is interested in it, it is new and unused, just contact me.

E finalmente sono anche arrivate le mie Shelly's. Devo ancora provarle con calma a casa, ma già le adoro. Sì, sono comode. Sì, il numero è giusto. Sì, sono altissime. Devo convincermi che se sono alta 1,70 e metto un tacco 7 non sono TROPPO alta. Ma è più forte di me, mi vergogno (okay, è una follia, lo so).

And, finally, ladies and gentlemen, my Shelly's shoes are here. I still have to try them on, but I love them. Yes, they are comfortable. Yes, the size fits me. Yes, they are SO high. I must convince myself that if I am 170 tall, and I wear a 7cm heel, I'm not TOO high.

Eccoci arrivati al primo giveaway di questo blog!

Ovviamente il premio non poteva che essere frivolo, e quindi ecco in palio uno smalto Kiko color lampone con micro glitter multicolore (nuovo, mai usato!) e un Magic Eyeliner Eyeko, cioè un eyeliner che fa diventare eyeliner un qualsiasi ombretto, basta intingerlo nella palette e via, innumerevoli colori!

A Kiko nail polish (new and unused) in a dark raspberry shade with multicolor microglitter, and a Magic Eyeliner Eyeko (new and unused), which is an eyeliner you can use with any eyeshadow. I mean, this eyeliner is neutral, but if you use it with an eyeshadow of your choice you'll have eyeliner!
