To buy or not to buy

I don't know if the same happens to you.

When I see something I like, I NEED it as soon as I can get it.

And when I get it, I realize that I could live without.

Today it's Dr.Martens' turn. Thaks to Corvina I stopped by Dr. Martens website.

Last year, I used to wear my 15 years old black Dr.Martens, and I found this pair of shoes, with wool inside.
It was love at first sight. But I didn’t buy them. Today I saw them on sale, and thought I must have them. But the question is: do I really need them? The answer is obviously no. but I like them and they are cheaper than they’ll be in winter.
Another thing: if I buy them today, and they will be delivered in a week or two, I could not wear them until October, more or less. So, will I need and love them on October/November? Or will I already be bored? I’m one of that people that when got something new they have to wear it.
The last thing: Dr. Martens are so pretty, but they hurts a lot when they are new. And it doesn’t improve when you already have one pair. I got two pairs right now (a black and a cherry one) and when I bought the second pair, it hurt as if it was the first one.

So, I’m so hesitant. I’d like to, but I’m not sure I want to. Please, tell me I’m not the only one who get confused.

Oggi li ho rivisti, in saldo. Ovviamente ho pensato che dovevo averli. Subito, a tutti i costi. La risposta ovvia è “no”.
Quindi, a ottobre, mi serviranno ancora?
Invece ciccia.

Insomma. Sono indecisa. Vorrei, ma non so se voglio. Non sono l’unica, vero? Ditemi di no.

I love my Doc Martens. I have a pair in classic black and breaking them in took a lot of work; they hurt so much at first. I understand your dilemma though. Sometimes, you see something that you really WANT, but then it turns out that you don't really need it and you end up wearing it only once, so it's a waste of money. I think you brought up good reasons not to buy it though. I personally wouldn't because of what you said, and also, black doc martens are all you'll ever need! They go with everything!

Ping, you are so right! I already have the black ones, maybe it's enough. Moreover, I found out that they don't ship to Italy.
And I know that before winter time I'll find a lot of shoes I'll like...
Thank you for your opinion, you've been so sweet :)

non sei l'unica, a me succede con il make up e cosmetici vari..appena li ordino vorrei averli già lì in poche ore (impossibile se me li vado a prendere in Inghilterra...).
