OPI swatches: Passion and Love this color

Ecco il penultimo smalto OPI da testare. Mi fa effetto usare uno smalto trasparente, dopo tanti smalti coloratissimi. Devo dire la verità, ce l'ho tutti i giorni sui miei piedini. Ma mi vergogno a fotografarli, quindi per voi eccolo sulle mani!

This is the fifth OPI polish for review. It's a bit strange to use transparent polishes after so many colored ones. To be honest, I wear it everyday on my feet, but a feel shy about taking pics of them, so just for you, here it is on my hands!

O.P.I Love this color

Questo rosso è molto particolare. A prima vista sembra un rosso mattone, in realtà ha una serie di riflessi che cambiano con la luce. In alcuni momenti è color ciliegia, quindi più freddo, in altri è più rosso mattone, quindi caldo. Purtroppo è difficilissimo da rendere in foto. Ho provato varie luci, ma nessuna rende bene il vero colore. Vivace ma sobrio, è un rosso classico che di classico non ha niente. Ha dei micro glitter rossi e dorati (così sembra) che lo rendono brillantissimo, ma discreto.

Mi piace, è un rosso perfetto per il lavoro.

This is an unusual red. At first sight it seems to be a hot red, a kind of brown, but in real life it has many shades which change with light. Sometimes it seems to be a colder red, like a cherry red, and other times it's like a hotter red, almost brownish. It's very difficult to catch the real color in pictures, I tried many light conditions but I'm still not satisfied. It's bright but quiet, a classic red which is not 'classic' at all. It has red and golden micro glitter that make it shine a lot.

I think it's the perfect shade for work.

O.P.I. - O.P.I. Red swatch

Ieri ho ricevuto da Fabyline (l'azienda che tratta i prodotti OPI in Italia, oltre a molti altri) degli smalti OPI da provare e farvi vedere, insieme a due dépliants molto interessanti. Inutile dire che quando ho aperto la scatola non stavo nella pelle. Sei smalti da provare. L'imbarazzo della scelta. Li avrei messi tutti e tutti insieme. Per me è il paese dei balocchi.

Yesterday I got some OPI polishes to review from Fabyline (the Company treating OPI products in Italy - and others as well). When I opened the box I couldn't believe it. Six new OPI nail polishes to review. I would have worn them all together.

Però mi sono trattenuta, ho sfogliato i dépliants, ho tolto lo smalto che avevo prima, ho fatto qualche foto e solo dopo sono passata all'ardua scelta: quale metto per primo? Ovviamente la questione mi ha portato via sì e no un quarto d'ora buono. Poi, da donna trasgressiva quale sono, ho optato per il colore più 'banale', quello più scontato: il rosso. Ebbene, scontato un tubazzo, signori. è il rosso più bello che io abbia mai visto. Ha una leggera sfumatura violacea, che dà al rosso un che di 'freddo', a me non piace il classico rosso mattone, ma preferisco il rosso ciliegia. E questo è proprio lui. L'effetto shimmer è leggerissimo, ma basta a non renderlo piatto, lasciando comunque l'effetto crema predominante.

But I took a deep breath and tried to relax. I took off the polish I was wearing, I took some pics, and then I spent more or less 15 minutes trying to decide which one I should have to try first. I'm not a trasgressive woman, so I choosed the most common one: the red one. Well, it wasn't common at all. It's the most beautiful red I've ever seeen. It's a cold shade of red, it has a light purple shimmer that reminds of cherry color, but the shimmer is not too strong, and the red seems to have a cream finish.

In queste foto c'è solo una passata. La texture è la migliore tra gli smalti OPI che ho provato fino ad ora. Liquido al punto giusto, asciuga in fretta ed è un colore veramente spettacolare.



This is only one coat (I never wear only one!). The texture is the best OPI texture I've tried. It's liquid but not too much, it dries quickly and the color is absolutely amazing.
