Stupid ELF polish

I officially don't like ELF polishes. After three bad experiences (sticky polishes... not only one, but three of them!!), this is my last one: this is a taupepolish I bought on July (more or less). Worn once. Yesterday I took it out of its box, and here's how it looked. No way of shaking and shaking, it didn't melt.

So, dear ELF, okay your polishes cost 1,70 €, but why small price needs to go with poor quality? We have Kiko polishes here, that cost 1,90 € and you can use them for years. To take an example.

I'm never going to buy ELF nail polishes anymore. Sorry about that.

Quindi, carissima ELF, è vero che i tuoi smalti costano 1,70 €, ma non è sempre detto che il prezzo basso debba andare di pari passo con la qualità scadente. Prendiamo ad esempio i nostri Kiko, che pur costando 1,90 € si stendono bene, durano e se li lasci soli e abbandonati per due mesi non si riducono così. Tanto per fare un esempio.

Non comprerò mai più smalti ELF.

Mineral perfections

Two weeks ago I ordered some mineral make-up samples from Mineral Perfections. I received the package in a week, and that’s fine.
I read somewhere that they sent jars with samples in them, but this wasn’t my experience. I am quite disappointed. I received micro plastic bags, that could be good for eyeshadows, it’s not hard to insert a little brush, but for foundation is terrible. This morning I came up by dropping the powder in my hand and then I picked it up with the brush, but I wasted a lot of sample.

Due settimane fa ho ordinato dei campioncini da Mineral Perfections, pagando "solo" le spese di spedizione. il tutto è arrivato in una settimana, e fin qui tutto bene. Da qualche parte avevo letto che spedivano i samples in piccoli barattolini, invece io - fortunella - li ho ricevuti in praticissimi e comodissimi sacchettini di plastica.

Ora, se per gli ombretti va ancora bene, perchè tanto il pennello è piccolo e si infila, per il fondotinta il micro sacchetto crea dei problemi. Come faccio a prelevarlo con il pennello? Ovviamente non entra, quindi stamattina ho fatto un disperato tentativo e l'ho messo sul palmo della mano, sprecandone metà.

Bene, non sono abituata al trucco minerale, era la prima volta che provavo un fondotinta, ma mi chiedo: sono l'unica rimbambita che non capisce e non riesce a mettersi il fondotinta minerale? Non capisco se l'ho messo e dove. Non capisco quanto devo girare il maledetto pennello sulla mia faccia, non lo vedo, non lo sento. Cioè, ho l'aspetto che ho in genere con il mio fondotinta fluido, e va bene, ma come ho fatto? Non so come, ma ho addosso un fondotinta. Dobbiamo indubbiamente prenderci le misure.

In ogni caso, i loro prezzi per me sono troppo alti quindi ho pensato bene di ordinare il mio fondotinta minerale da E.L.F.

The nice part is they offered me some more samples: a foundation, a blush and a matte finish (WTF??).

I tried the taupe color, and it's pretty. Today I tried Seafom Shimmer and... I don't know. On my hand it was a light blue with golden shimmer, and I liked it. On my eyes... where is it?

Ieri ho provato il color Taupe ed era carino. Oggi ho provato il Seafom, che sulla mano era un bell'azzurrino cangiante dorato, e mi piaceva. Ma sugli occhi... dov'è?
