Oggi parliamo di smalti.

Essie Showstopper + a huge swap!

Some days ago I got the hugest swap I’ve ever seen. Laura was so sweet to send me Sally Hansen’s Hidden treasures, and with it, many other goodies. I had to take many pics because only one didn't catch all the stuff she sent me. I feel very ashamed about this swap, because mine was not so big and so sweet, but I'm working on something else to offer her. It's a surprise :).

Here we go with all the babes she sent me (there were two candy packs, but.... they're over...)


Qualche giorno fa ho ricevuto lo swap più grande del mondo dalla carissima Laura. La mia richiesta è stata quella di avere Sally Hansen Hidden treasures, e lei molto gentilmente mi ha inviato tonnellate di cose in più, e la cosa ha suscitato in me non poco imbarazzo, in quanto il mio swap non era così fornito. In ogni caso sto lavorando ad una sorpresa per lei, di tutt'altro genere.



Ad onor del vero, ammetto che c'erano anche due pacchetti di caramelle. Che adesso non ci sono più.













Today I only have swatches for Essie Showstopper, which was my first Essie polish, and I love it. It's a cherry red with golden shimmer, but the shimmer is much more visible in the bottle than on the nails. It's a wonderful color, I love it because I can wear it for every occasion, and it's not the red you are used to see. The second and the third pics are closer to real life than the first one...

Oggi ho da farvi vedere solo Essie Showstopper, che è stato il mio primo smalto Essie. Mi piace moltissimo, è un rosso ciliegia con shimmer color oro, che però si vede molto di più nella bottiglia che sulle unghie. Il colore è meraviglioso, si può mettere tutti i giorni e non è il solito rosso che si vede in giro. La seconda e terza foto sono più vicine alla realtà nel colore.

Claire's mood nail polishes

Some time ago I asked my international readers for these Claire's mood polishes. Here in Italy it's impossible to find them, and I didn't find them online, as well.

But "holy" Karen agreed to swap with me not only one bottle, but the entire collection! And she was so kind to send me two other polishes, one from Maybelline, and the other one from Sally Hansen, which is a brand I've never tested before, and I'm happy to try!

This one is Maybelline Touch of Taupe. As I said a million times, I do love taupe shades. This is lighter than OPI Over the Taupe, and different from any other taupe shade I have. It's creamy and glossy, and it lasts for a good time.

Next time I'll show you all the moodies together in a special post.

Qualche tempo fa cercavo disperatamente gli smalti cambia colore di Claire's, che qui non si trovano (avevamo forse dei dubbi?), e che il mio fiuto da segugio non ha trovato nemmeno online.

Così, 'Santa' Karen ha acconsentito a swappare con me l'intera collezione! E dato che è gentilissima mi ha mandato anche due smalti extra. Un Maybelline un Sally Hansen, che ho il piacere di provare, visto che è una marca che non ho mai testato. Oggi vi faccio vedere il Maybelline Touch of Taupe. Ho detto milioni di volte che amo le nuances color tortora, e questo è diverso da tutte quelle che già ho. è cremoso e lucidissimo, e dura abbastanza.

Gli smalti Claire's li metterò tutti in un post apposta al più presto!
