For the first time since I own my blog, I got an invitation for a meeting with Max Factor. Obviously, I couldn’t go because of my work. They had this meeting to introduce their new Xperience foundation. They’ve been so kind to send me the products so that I could try them at home and review them for you. In the pics you can see the content of the bag: the foundation, 3 lipgloss and a USB memory card (which has this nice box).
Iniziamo con il dire che i gloss sono spettacolari. Per adesso quello rosso è il mio preferito. Profumano di anguria, non appiccicano e tengono bene. Sono mooooorbidi.. al punto che lo sto usando al posto del burrocacao.
The first thing to say is that the glosses are wonderful. The red one is my fav. They smell like watermelon, but more delicate. They are not sticky and last long. They’re smooth. So smooth that I replaced my lip balm with them.
Il fondotinta è, beh, ottimo. Premettiamo che sono una fan di Second Skin (ovviamente l’avevo anche appena ricomprato…), un altro loro fondotinta. Premettiamo anche che non ho una pelle da coprire perché fortunatamente non ho impurità e simili, quindi non mi è mai servito un fondo coprente quanto qualcosa che mi uniformasse l’incarnato e coprisse le occhiaie. Detto ciò, questo fondotinta funziona una meraviglia. È fluido, profumato, coprente senza effetto clown. Tra l’altro la nuance andava anche bene sul mio viso. E, in più, non si sente quando è addosso. E si elimina anche molto velocemente. Sono ancora indecisa su quale sia il mio preferito tra Second Skin e Xperience. Forse Xperience si stende meglio, con Second Skin devo spalmare di più.
Comunque, bello e buono. Sarà disponibile nei punti vendita a partire da Ottobre 2010.
The foundation is, well, perfect. I’m already a fan of Max Factor Second Skin. I don’t have a skin that needs a lot of opaque foundations, because I don’t have spots or something like this (lucky me!), so I only need something to enlighten my skin. And it works. It’s fluid, softly scented and doesn’t make me feel like a clown. Moreover the shade they sent me fit my skintone. It’s also easy to remove, and you don’t feel it when you wear it. I’m still in doubt if I prefer Second Skin or Xperience. It would be released in Italy from October 2010.
Siccome sono un’entusiasta, non potevo non provare subito tutti i gloss. Eccoli sulla mano. Non è la stessa cosa che vederli addosso, ma sono tanto timida. Comunque, son molto più tenui quando spalmati sulle labbra. Per dare un’idea: io metto solo gloss trasparenti. Se metto questo rosso è perché è proprio delicato. E poi sa di anguria, l’ho già detto? Adoro l’anguria.
Here you can see the glosses on my hand. It’s not the same as seeing them on the lips, but I’m quite shy. Their shades are softer on the lips. I always wear transparent gloss, and now I’m using the red one, does it make sense?? And it smells like watermelon, did I already say that?? I love watermelon.
